Titanium Oxalate

Titanium Oxalate - An alternative mordant for use with natural dyes on both protein and cellulose fibres. Titanium will produce a distinct palette (for example it gives a bright orange when combined with dyes containing tannin).  Sample test to determine colour. Use at 8-10% WOF, dissolved in hot water.  Add to the dye bath, add fibres and cook for 45-60 minutes at 170-190° F (75-90° C), stirring frequently.
