Ikat Tape Blue

Japanese poly Ikat tape is essential for ikat dyeing and we also love it for shibori tying processes.

It is a strong, flexible tying material that holds a knot very securely and is dye resistant. It comes in a large roll 470m long and 2’’ (5cm) wide. It can be split into strips as small as 3mm in width for fine detailed work and it can also be used at its full width to wrap and preserve larger areas for bold patterning.
