Bengal Handstitched Indigo Quilt - Currents

This exceptional handstitched quilt will bring warmth and wonder to your home. Made of artisan cloth - where threads first were dyed in natural fermentation indigo vats, then handwoven by skilled weavers, pieced together, and finally handstitched in Sundarbans, India. Each piece is unique and has a story to tell. 

Fibre: 100% Cotton

Process:

• Thread-dyed with organic indigo vats & handwoven.
• Quilted & handstitched.

Note on Indigo Colour: Indigo is a friendly dye and likes to share its colour. You can expect some colour rub off with your new textiles. We recommend washing separately.

 

Care Instructions: Your bedding can be hand washed with cool water. To protect the natural dyes you must use a pH neutral liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours. Roll in a towel to remove excess water and hang to dry in the shade. 

Recommended detergents: Ecos, Eucalan, Tru Earth or a mild liquid detergent no higher than pH 7

- Tru Earth must dissolve completely in water before adding garments to wash
